About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Front-End engineer to join our GenDigital eCommerce team. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to bring a big impact in the design and delivery of various product initiatives and create amazing experiences for our users.
What You Will Do In This Role
- Develop customer-facing eCommerce applications using modern technologies including ReactJS and NodeJS
- Setting up extensive A/B testing campaigns using Adobe TnT and monitoring production performance
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers and Marketing Managers to create compelling frontend web experiences
- Create beautiful responsive web pages with well-crafted and performant CSS based on mocks
- Actively participate in design and code reviews for the team
What You'll Need to be Successful in this Role
- 6+ years of experience in Web development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong experience using modern web frameworks like AngularJS, NextJS and primarily ReactJS and surronding ecosystem
- Deeply passionate about customer experience and can quickly translate insights, mockups to working production quality code
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and building server-side applications using Express/NodeJS
- Experience working with Adobe CMS and setting up Adobe TnT campaigns
- Strong web application testing experience using Jest, Cypress, and code-coverage tools
- Proven track record delivering large scale single-page applications using modern techniques and ability to lead a small team solving challenging problems
- Strong knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting production systems
- Deep understanding of front-end architecture and web optimization techniques
- Keen eye on design with attention to detail, especially around performance and accessibility
