Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with mobile application design and architecture.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
3 year of experience in a technical leadership role, and experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience working with Android/iOS technologies or front end frameworks.

Responsibilities
Write and test product or system development code. Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Be part of a team that gets Gemini to work on Pixel and other Android and iOS mobile phones in the market.
Design and implement mission critical functionalities that users love. Work with numerous teams throughout Gemini model, client, and infrastructure to build a scalable infrastructure that powers all of the rich functionalities above.
Address open-ended, complex, and constantly evolving problems. Be deeply involved in the design and architectural decisions, as well as collaborating closely with Product Management and UX to define product strategy and roadmap.
