Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications using Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Provide expertise in building and maintaining Hibernate-based data persistence solutions.
Manage Oracle Database for effective data handling and querying.
Oversee the development of Java Swing applications and Java RMI services.
Implement and enforce best practices in writing robust JUnit tests.
Set up and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
Direct and supervise projects with Gradle.
Lead version control and collaborative development efforts using GIT.
Drive Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, within the team.
Preferred knowledge of Apache Camel, IBM/Active MQ, and Groovy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and guide the team in adopting best practices in Java development.
proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Strong knowledge of Hibernate and Oracle Database.
Proficiency in Java Swing and Java RMI.
Extensive experience with JUnit for unit testing.
Strong experience with Jenkins for continuous integration.
Expertise in Gradle for project build and management.
Extensive experience with GIT for version control and collaborative development.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Preferred knowledge of Apache Camel, IBM/Active MQ, and Groovy.
Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

As a Software engineer, having Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Hibernate and Oracle Database will also be an integral part of this role.
You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of Java Swing, Java RMI, JUnit for unit testing, Jenkins. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.
