Senior Software Engineer (Axiom Developer)

Job Description:

Once here you will -

• Responsible for delivery across all aspects of the Axiom Development lifecycle of Regulatory Reporting.

• 7 or above years of overall experience in Finance industry out of which minimum 4 years in Axiom Controller View

• Good understanding of axiom objects / functionalities - Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Fee Form, Tabular Report, workflow, sign-off, freezing etc.

• Strong knowledge on Oracle 12C SQL, PL/SQL programming, Python & Spark & good understanding of relational data modelling

• Design, develop and implement solutions using available technologies(includes SQL/PLSQL, Shell scripts, Python)

• Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting

• Familiarity with Agile process

What you will bring-

Primary Skills: Axiom Controller View, Oracle 12C SQL, PL/SQL programming, Python & Spark

Secondary Skills: Java /any other languages, UNIX, Autosys.

• Exposure to enterprise level datamarts and worked on validation of large datasets

• Functional knowledge on regulatory reporting is desirable.

• Strong hands-on development skills in Python & Oracle PL/SQL objects (triggers, procedures, functions, packages)

• Assure adherence to standards, best practices, and alignment with overall architecture.

• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.

• Knowledge of automated testing is a plus.

• Good experience in requirements gathering, analysis and good communication skills.

• Should be able to build good relationship with US partners and able to work in a collaborative environment.
