About the Role
We, Asset Control Team, in Institutional Reg & Risk Tech Area, take pride in developing and managing our golden source Reference Data application called Asset Control, which is one of the very crucial applications in the bank.
So as an Engineer for this team, you will be responsible for building best solutions for the bank, improving the way we work at ANZ and as a Squad member, contributing to the accomplishment of the Squad's mission

What will your day look like
As a Senior Software Engineer, you are expected to:- Own and manage delivery of projects for better growth of the business.
- Responsible for overall health and stability of the production systems.
- Maintain strong customer/stakeholder relationship, understand the business priorities and act in a way which maximizes value for business.
- Drive, provide solution, and be responsible for successful execution of the strategic initiatives/changes; and help others see the vision and benefits of those initiatives.
- Proactively identify, support and drive opportunities for change, and if required, engage with others to gain buy-in and act as an advocate for improvements.
- Believe and advocate for strong Risk culture and be proactive in managing variety of Functional and Non-Functional Risk in a timely manner.
What will you bring
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Overall, 10-12 years, in which, at least 3-4 years as Asset Control development and responsible for Stakeholder and Vendor management.
Experience and strong programming in Shell Programming of Unix/Linux, Perl, Java or .Net, and RDBMS
Experience of working in Asset Control Reference Data System and its interfaces and modules
Experience and knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Release Management, & Project Management
Good understanding of Investment Banking operations and esp. Data Management.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others.
