ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Software Engineer 1 - .NET to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing team focused on great performance. This is an exciting opportunity to within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software
- solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Write high-quality code that is scalable, maintainable, efficient, and secure
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting of software applications
- Continuous learning of emerging trends and technologies in software development
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
- Minimum education (or substitute experience) required:
- Demonstrated knowledge of software application development is required.
- Will consider experience and certificates in lieu of a degree, though a bachelor's degree or higher in computer
- science or related fields is preferred.
- Preferred work experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development in any programming language/platform
- 5+ years experience in developing .NET applications
- Experience developing cloud-native architectures a plus
- Skills and competencies required:
- Proven full-stack experience in building enterprise-level applications
- Strong Object-Oriented design
- .NET (Core), .NET Framework, and ASP.NET programming experience (C#)
- Some JavaScript experience (closures, prototype inheritance, etc.)
- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and mocking
- Solid understanding of Web Standards (XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, APIs, etc)
- SQL proficiency (DDL & DML)
- Demonstrated use and knowledge of design patterns and cloud-native technologies
- Strong communication and advanced problem-solving skills
- A high commitment to engineering quality and customer experience
- Experience with agile methodologies or related iterative development processes is a plus
