Team Overview
We're an ambitious and dedicated team powering a global fintech who are committed to driving innovation and efficiency. We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our application team in either Chandigarh or Pune to play a key role in developing and maintaining our core application.
We're looking for someone with proven development experience with Java and Spring boot technologies to seamlessly integrate into the team and contribute effectively from day one. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and Spring Boot technologies
- Lead, mentor and coach sub-teams and more junior developers
- Play a leading role in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Take ownership of assignments and ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Contribute to code reviews to maintain code quality and identify opportunity for improvements
Required Skills
- 5+ years of development experience with Java and Spring Boot technologies
- Proficiency in core Java (OOP, data structures, algorithms), collections framework, exception handling, and multithreading
- Solid understanding of Spring Core concepts (dependency injection), Spring MVC for web development (controllers, models, views), and Spring Boot for rapid application building
- Experience with Java build tools (Maven) and unit testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito)
- Good understanding of SQL and database interactions
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills and a team player mentality
