Join our engineering team to shape Akamai's cloud offerings. Contribute to designing and programming application and microservice deployment in our Connected Cloud Platform. Your role ensures the quality of complex systems, impacting our distributed clouds significantly.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for-
- Demonstrating excellence coding in Python and automation through Bash scripting
- Having experience in Linux system administration (specifically, server administration, networking, system internals, and package management)
- Having Bash and scripting fundamentals
- Having exposure in network fundamentals (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
- Having experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Github Actions, SaltStack or Pulumi
Do What You Love
To be successful in this role you will-
- Have 10+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Have demonstrated experience in developing test automation in Python, Java or any other language
- Be passionate about solving large scale distributed systems problems.
- Enjoy working as a team, collaborating, and solving problems with others.
- Have exposure or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.
- Have good knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD system
