Senior Software Consultant

Responsible for preparation of test cases and run tests on applications developed by the software team. Suggest changes / improvements if any to the application based on the tests conducted

Essential Qualifications : Bachelors degree in any science stream/ DCA/ MCA/ B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MS

Technical Qualifications : Familiar with software testing

Experience : Minimum 5 of experience in software quality

Key Responsibilities :

• Relate appropriate QA methodologies to the project and prepare test cases
• Report errors / defects in the test results and monitor the project
• Preparation of defect reports
• Co-ordinate with the software development team from the initiation stage to monitor progress of the project
• Ability to test deployment environment

Key Competencies :

• Knowledge on automated tools
• Good understanding of the test planning process and knowledge of computer science fundamentals and UML
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Competent in testing software based on multi-tier architectures and associated enabling platforms and frameworks
