SAP FIORI/UI5 with ABAP
Materials Management Platform is a multi-year transformation initiative aimed at transforming Ford's Materials Requirement Planning & Inventory Management capabilities. This is part of a larger Industrial Systems IT Transformation effort. We are looking for resource with SAP UI5/Fiori Coding experience along with ABAP Experience in CDS Views/AMDP/OData
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework.
- Should have worked in SAP Business Application Studio with CD/CI Pipeline
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems (S/4HANA).
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP Fiori applications with other SAP modules.
- Provide end-user training and support for SAP Fiori applications.
- Stay updated on SAP Fiori and UI5 advancements and best practices.
- Enhance standard Fiori applications and adapt them to meet business requirements. Implement Fiori Launchpad configuration and customizations.
- Experience with end-to-end config. - Full Stack - Fiori Elements, Debugging (OData, creation of CDS views), REST FUL API (RAP Programming). Experience in UI5-related programming like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, etc.
- Experience with extending, customize, and implement SAP Fiori standard components.
- Experience with supporting UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops with suppliers.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Work List, Object page etc.) and SAP Annotations
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori Architecture on Cloud and On-Premise deployments
- Experience with Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal.
- Experience with ABAP Development tools in Eclipse environment.
- Experience with Chrome/Edge debuggers
- Experience with SAP BSP development
- Experience with SAP Business Application Studio
- Experience with Mobile App development including SAP Fiori for iOS/Android.
- Experience with OpenText Administration Client configuration, administration, upgrading Archive Center server software, and Microsoft SQL Server Configuration.
- Identifies gaps in the IT solution. Assists and recommends business process redesign and documentation as needed. Translates functional specifications for into technical specifications for IT development. Familiar with technical system implementation in order to enhance functionality.
- Partners with IT design to implement current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be processed, and how the results will be managed.
- Expert in current as-is process and works with the business to define the to-be process.
- Partners with the global network to ensure synergies with existing systems and alignment with group strategy.
- Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system -identifies and differentiates system configuration from programming solutions. Writes detailed technical specifications for program development. Performs and documents system development (programming).
- Implements system interface design and development. Capable of multi project management -manage multiple projects simultaneously. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
- Develop SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service builder and CDS Views
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 apps using SAP Web IDE consuming Gateway OData/Restful APIs, JSON services, and Git.
- Writes detailed technical specifications for program development.
- Performs and documents system development (programming)
- Implements system interface design and development.
- Verify solutions via testing.
- Provides on-call support as needed.
- Prepares/coordinates technical reports, process documentation, test plans, training needs assessment, and implementation plans.
- Ensures target achievement is consistently attained.
- Capable of multi project management -manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Business or the equivalent of 4 years
. professional experience in SAP ABAP or Web development.
. 3+ years ABAP programming including interface technology, object oriented programming skills
. 3+ years of experience in web technologies like JavaScript. 2+ years of experience with CSS, HTML or BHTML. HTML5 (preferred).
. 3+ years of experience with database systems, operating systems and IT relevant infrastructure environment
. 3+ years of experience in all of the following: in the area of assigned responsibility, team-oriented and collaborative environment.
. 1+ years of SAP functional (configuration) knowledge with SAP TRM & eWM.
. Experience with the following is preferred: -SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) -JQuery -SAPUI5 -XLST -HTML5 mobile -Technical documentation -HP Quality Center (test management software)
