RegBrain allows customers to apply CUBE's AI models directly to their own content, enabling faster release and feedback cycles. Our flagship AI services will be included, spanning structural detection, classification, entity extraction, summarisation, and recommendations. Available to customers and partners as APIs and via a UI.

Role mission:

Reporting to DevOps Lead in Australia, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our regulatory compliance platform.

You will work closely with colleagues from cross-functional Infrastructure, Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our services in Azure cloud, while adhering to industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Review, assess the current CUBE's infrastructure in Azure across multiple engineering teams to design, implement and optimize the architecture to ensure reliability, redundancy, and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance our ELK monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Implement automation solutions for deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and implementing preventive measures to mitigate future incidents. Establish service SLAs (Service Level Agreements), SLOs, and troubleshooting runbooks and documentation.
• Engaging with technical teams (dev/engineering, AI, infrastructure ops) to implement and maintain security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Azure hybrid cloud.
• Establish patching and maintenance process for systems including but not limiting to Azure infrastructure and open-source applications. Ensure they remain up to date via automation or recurring processes.
• Deliver infrastructure improvements and projects under change control.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work with service owners, SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) etc. in the production of solutions and designs.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a related Cloud engineering, DevOps or SRE role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles.
• Proven track-record in the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments, conducting root cause analysis and incident response.

Working knowledge of the following is highly desirable:

• Docker/containerization, Kubernetes and other container orchestration.
• Monitoring and logging technologies, such as ELK, Prometheus.
• CI/CD Practices, such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft stack.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Pulumi/Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code platforms.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills able to produce high quality documentation, designs, presentations, and plans
