What you will be doing with us:
- Designing and customizing Shopify store themes to meet client requirements and improve user experience.
- Developing and implementing custom functionality using Shopify's Liquid template language and other APIs.
- Integrating third-party apps and plugins to enhance the functionality of the store.
- Debugging and fixing technical issues related to Shopify stores.
- Collaborating with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in e-commerce and Shopify development.
- Ensuring the store meets SEO best practices and is optimized for performance.
- Providing ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the store remains functional and secure.
- Conducting thorough testing of the store before and after any updates or changes.
- Documenting the design, implementation, and maintenance processes for the store
Ideal Characteristics/Behaviors:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Shopify Developer.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with the Shopify platform, including customizing themes and developing custom functionality.
- Familiarity with Liquid, Shopify's template language.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and payment gateway integrations.
- Experience with SEO optimization and website performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in e-commerce and Shopify development.
