Job Description

Position: ServiceNow Tester Role

Overview: We are in search of a detail-oriented ServiceNow Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our ServiceNow applications through comprehensive testing.

This role involves close collaboration with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Strategy Development: Create detailed test plans and test cases tailored to ServiceNow applications.
  • Execution of Tests: Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and manage defects using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Automation: Implement automated test cases using suitable tools and frameworks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on test status to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in software testing, with a focus on ServiceNow applications.
  • Technical Skills: o Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. o Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Strong communication and teamwork skills. o Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is advantageous. Preferred

Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Familiarity with test management tools.
