Active Directory Administration: Manage Active Directory, including user account management, group policies, and security configurations.
Active Directory Services / FSMO Roles - Role Transfer - Role Seizing / DNS / Domain trust / WDS/File servers (Permission and access right management / disk quote) DHCP / scopes / DORA Process
Server Monitoring: Monitor server performance, system logs, and identify potential issues to ensure optimal system operations.
Backup Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions for data protection and disaster recovery planning. Tools :- Veeam/ CA Arc Server
Patch Management: Apply patches, updates, and security fixes to systems in compliance with corporate policies.
Server Virtualization: Work with virtualization technologies such as VMware
Extensive knowledge on High Availability, DRS, VMotion, SV Motion VMware SMP, capacity planner, V2P and P2V technologies Hands-on experience with designing and building physical servers installing, configuring, and patching ESXi 7.x 8.0 Manage VMs with snapshots.
Extensive knowledge of ESX host and Storage integration with iSCSI FC technology.
Regular support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the escalated tickets for the internal and external customer.
Hands-on knowledge of configuring VM network in VMware(vlan/vlan IDs/network teaming etc.
Identify and implement the rectified operational issues
Hands-on knowledge of Importing and exporting OVFs and manually migration of VMs
