Senior Security Developer

Goal:

Improve security of applications (important)

Analyse and document security measures/improvement (important)

Improve security skills in the squad (important)

Tasks:

Support the security project implementation in a squad. Be in charge of work packages to secure existing applications. Additionally skill up the squad in the topic. With focus on following topics:

threat modelling (important)

backup & recovery

encryption

pen testing

Identify security gaps (architecture, code, infrastructure)

Requirements:

Developer skills:

Collaborate with the software development team to refactor existing code to follow security guidelines

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring secure software development

Able to train others in depth regarding secure development

Experience with Threatt Modelling

English or german language skills

Technical Knowledge: (advanced but not expert level: reading code, reviews, finding security gaps, simple coding, etc.)

C# and/or Python experience important

SQL server admin experience

AWS experience (important)

Terraform or similar

Additional requirements:

Able to train others (important)

Introduce best practices (important)

If possible know following tools: Qualys, Checkmarx, Azure DevOps Server
