Responsibilities
- Install and configure SPF applications AUTHORING/INTEGRATION Sites and associated components.
- Set up user accounts, roles, and access permission within SPF. Implement and manage SPF updates, patches, and enhancement.
- Develop and maintain SPF templates, workflows, and reports.
- Configuration of SCHEMA, ADMIN of SPF Sites. Defining Security model, extending tool map schemas.
- SPIOP (Smart Plant Interop Publisher) knowledge requirements for integrating other non-native Hexagon products into SPF.
- Knowledge of the document and asset lifecycle including distribution matrices for document review, transmittals etc.
- Schema Modelling and Mapping experience for integrated design suite (Smart PID, Smart Instrumentation, Smart Electrical, Smart 3D)
- Setting up exchange data.
- Contributes to internal engineering processes and tasks recommending new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
- Recommends adjustments to resolve software issues, improve the functionality of existing software, and ensure that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets quality standards.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their Integration needs and requirements, Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth integration with other systems.
Required skills and experience
- 6 to 8 years of experience as an SPF Administrator and user Familiarity with engineering and asset lifecycle management.
- The candidate must possess the capability to deliver user level training.
- Knowledge of SQL database and SQL Language is required.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil, structural & architectural, electrical, instrumentation & controls and piping.
- Advanced computer skills and experience with major drafting and design software such as AutoCAD and SmartPlant.
Desirable skills and experience
- 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering and design.
- Smart Construction knowledge is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable government regulations and regulatory codes.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environment.
- Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail
- Good knowledge on CFIHOS Specification and data validation work processes
- Good knowledge of SPF/SDx workflows, Data Capturing capabilities.
