We are looking for talented to join our team to lead the delivery of major projects across multiple regions and sectors.
How will you contribute to the team (Requirements) To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following :
The role will report to the Digital construction manager but will be expected to work closely with many functions across Nuclear sector, especially the Project Information Manager.
The primary responsibility of the SDx Engineer will be to develop, implement and administer the SDx application from HEXAGON for various phases of Nuclear project and to support the Engineering team as follows:
Role : Senior SDx Engineer
- Setup interfaces between SDx and HEXAGON SmartPlant as well 3rd party solutions
- Application Administrator Duties
- Create and manage SDx User Accounts
- Field SmartPlant User calls and requests
- Monitor server performance and implement approved recommendations.
- Ensure server administration tools and maintenance activities are functioning properly and modify as necessary
- Identify and implement administrative tools to improve monitoring and maintenance duties.
- Perform development activities as directed by Engineering and O&M teams.
Responsibilities :
- Set up and customize the solution based on business requirements.
- Train other users on how to use HxGN SDx effectively.
- Address any issues or questions related to the platform.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and maximize the platform's benefits.
- Collaborate with clients to define digital delivery strategy for the project.
- Work with Information manager to evaluate the EIR and set up the CDE to align the requirements.
- Establish and manage Common Data Environment to support collaboration between all project stakeholders.
- Setup models for individual disciplines and for federation
- Provide guidance and training to the delivery team.
- Define processes for QA/QC of models and check compliance of models to client requirements.
- Interact with clients and external stakeholders to manage delivery.
- Support project leadership in tracking delivery progress and identifying potential risks to delivery.
- Supports the deployment of innovative processes, tools and methodologies.
- Ensure project delivery in compliance with ISO19650 by performing regular audits across the project lifecycle.
Experience & Knowledge :
- Minimum of 5 Years of overall experience in with HxGN SDx and HxGN suite -eg: Smartplant
- Minimum of 2 Years of experience in managing Multi-Disciplinary Co-ordination in large projects with geographically dispersed teams.
- International experience working with global project teams.
- Experience in reviewing client EIRs and authoring BEPs
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards
- Knowledge of 4D-5D-6D would be an added advantage.
Software Skill :
- Expertise in setting up and managing projects on HxGN SDx
- Expertise in Navisworks clash detection and multi-disciplinary co-ordination
- Knowledge of PowerBI or other data visualization tools would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo / Microsoft Power Automate would be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture. Masters qualification would be an added advantage.
- Certification in ISO19650 would be an added advantage
- Certification in BIM Tools and Processes would be an added advantage
