We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Programmer to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position with a requirement to work in the US time zone. The ideal candidate will be an expert in
Apex programming and have a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem. You should have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers directly, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and business analysts, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide ongoing support for Salesforce applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Engage with clients in a customer-facing role, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of business needs.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior Salesforce developers, helping to elevate the technical capabilities of the team.
- Participate in regular stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of tasks and projects.
- Stay updated with Salesforce best practices, releases, and new features, incorporating them into existing systems where appropriate.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Apex programming and the Salesforce platform.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and integration techniques.
- Experience with Salesforce development best practices, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand various accents and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer-facing experience, comfortable engaging with clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I & II) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (RESTful API, SOAP, and 3rd-party integrations).
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, etc.).
- Experience in Salesforce Communities and Salesforce Einstein is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
