Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Sales Representative at FBT DMC. The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and target potential business clients such as travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and event planners who are interested in booking travel services or tours.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and other business partners. Understand their needs and preferences to tailor offerings and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies specific to the tourism industry, focusing on attracting and retaining business clients through customized travel packages, special promotions, and competitive pricing.
- Product Knowledge and Presentation: Have in-depth knowledge of the company's travel products, destinations, and services. Conduct presentations and demonstrations to potential B2B clients, showcasing the benefits and unique selling points of the company's offerings.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with business clients, ensuring agreements meet both client needs and company objectives. Manage and oversee contract fulfillment and renewals.
- Market Research and Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and optimize sales strategies. Stay updated on industry developments to provide relevant and timely solutions.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, track client interactions, and report on progress toward sales goals. Use data to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, promotional activities, and client support. Coordinate efforts to enhance the overall client experience.
- Customer Support and Follow-Up: Provide exceptional post-sales support to business clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Follow up on client feedback and ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the company's services.
- Networking and Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build connections, stay informed about industry trends, and promote the company's brand and offerings.
Qualifications
- Sales Strategy Development, Client Relationship Management, and Business Development skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in the travel or hospitality industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales tools
