JOB TITLE:Senior Sales Manager- Corporate / Travel Agent
AREA/DEPARTMENT:Hotel Sales and Marketing/ Hotel Sales
REPORTS TO:General Manager - Sales
JOB SCOPE: To manage sales activities and events inline with the annual sales plan and to achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy for your hotel.
Have to do sales for all Hotels of Shervani Group Shervani Hotel Nehru Place New Delhi, Shervani Hilltop Nainital, Shervani Pebbles and Pines Jim Corbett, Te Aroha by Shervani Mukteshwar.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors competitor's activities and assists in doing sales calls for all units.
- Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.
- Manage the corporate head office and the preferred hotel history for that company
- Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with Travel Agents, Corporates and Banqueting queries
- Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis
- Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business
- Builds profile existence within local market place through attendance at various events and local markets.
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
- Travel to various Units as anwhen required to promote the hotel and develop potential business
- Monitor existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximise business
- Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business
- Interfaces with operations on a timely basis
- Assesses sales and marketing data
- Assists with the preparation of new products and services
- Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
- Analyses sales mix and likely impact on hotel goals
- Implement direction from GM - Sales and Marketing
