Burson is looking for a talented Senior Sales Manager to join our Bangalore office. Should have experience in concept selling in any industry preferably media or PR and will be expected to meet revenue targets and work on a portfolio of clients. In addition to being a client leader, you are expected to provide on-the-job training for junior team members through ongoing counsel and effective delegation.
Technical Competency/KPIs
New Business
- Meeting revenue targets
- Maintaining a healthy NBD pipeline
- NBD for India and International distribution
- Accountable for collection of accounts receivables
- Retention of and upselling to existing clients
- Participates in new business brainstorms and drafting new business proposals
- Takes part in new business pitches and presentations to new business prospects
Team Leadership Skills
- Acts as a coach and mentor to junior team members to deliver quality execution of client programs Effectively delegates tasks and oversees quality implementation
- Takes an active interest in staff development and provides on the job training to team members on day-to-day account management .
- Keeps immediate supervisors briefed on team member performance, ensuring recognition of good performance and that any concerns are addressed in a timely fashion.
Account Management
- Understanding and Managing the Scope of Work.
- Manages client programs and ensures they are kept within budget
- Ensures that all activities carried out for clients are properly documented and status reports are submitted .
- Oversees account administration duties such as billing, and activity reports are completed correctly and on time.
Requirements:
- At least 8- 10 years of sales experience in media/service industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to network to build your business.
