We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading solar tracker company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to expand market reach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share in the solar tracker industry.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including solar developers, EPC contractors, and project developers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns to support sales efforts.
Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements that meet company objectives and profitability targets.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services and expand professional networks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the solar tracker, inverter and module sales.
Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and other sales tools and technologies.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.
