Job Title: Senior Sales Executive/ Asst Manager/ Manager

Location: Ahmedabad (Can consider based out of Gujarath)

Experience: 3 + years

Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Bio/Life Sciences or related fields

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Sales Executive/ Asst Manager/ Manager to join our team in the Pharmaceutical & Life Science Instruments sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in the life sciences industry, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, specifically related to laboratory instruments, equipment, or reagents used in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Drive sales and business growth in the pharmaceutical and life sciences instrumentation sector within the assigned territory (Gujarat/Ahmedabad).
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including academic institutions, research labs, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology firms.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
  • Provide expert advice and technical support to clients regarding pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science instruments and related technologies.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to effectively position products and solutions to meet client needs.

  • Market Research & Reporting:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, track competitors, and understand customer requirements.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the management team.

  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on promotional campaigns, product launches, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with the service and support teams to ensure smooth post-sales service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or laboratory instrumentation sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business in a B2B environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of laboratory instruments, equipment, reagents, and software used in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements in life sciences and pharmaceuticals.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Location Preferences:

Based out of Gujarat or Ahmedabad, with the ability to travel within the assigned region for client meetings and business development.
