About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at our sales office in Bangalore.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence by generating leads and successfully closing sales for our products and services in both domestic and international markets. You will play a important role in establishing and nurturing strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing comprehensive technical and commercial support to ensure their satisfaction. Additionally, you will represent our brand and showcase our innovative solutions at trade shows and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and close sales for our products and services in domestic and international markets.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide comprehensive technical and commercial support to customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Represent our brand and showcase our solutions at trade shows and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Min. 6 years of experience in selling capital goods in an industrial environment.
- A degree in engineering, chemistry, pharma, or a related field.
- Demonstrated robust technical background and a keen interest in selling process equipment and solutions.
- A background in pharma or biotech is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as per business requirements.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
