Role Profile: Sales engineer - Industrial sales

Job scope and responsibilities

Role Title: Sales Engineer - Industrial SBU :

Purpose of the Job board objective of the role : Develop customer base and improve market visibility in the assigned area by conducting customer visits, performing cold calls, generating new inquiries, handling projects and processing orders to maintain and increase direct sales revenue and profitability Operating Network Key External.

Energy audit

Plan and conduct new customer and competitors customer visits for industrial products to improve the market visibility .

Analyze the customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions to drive the product sales

Ensure adherence to the Project process .

Generate leads, manage inquiries, prepare offer, carry out negotiations with the customer and process the order

Retain and ring fence the existing customers and ensure minimum order losses

Sales and Inflow targets

Sales Process Management

Analyze the practices and improve the lead generation through cold calling

Obtain information about competitors products and provide inputs to the sales leader.

Collect the lost orders data and perform the orders lost analysis

Implement the corrective actions to minimize the number of orders lost

Profit Management .

Manage the Accounts Receivables (AR) and reduce the outstanding payments

II. Education and Experience Guidelines

Education Qualifications

B.E./B TECHin Any Specialization

1-2 years of experience in industrial capital goods sales

Preferable Knowledge/Experience

Application knowledge

On field sales experience

Analytical, project handling and sales skills
