In this role, you will:
- Optimize resource utilization by allocating resources to projects based on priority, skill sets, and availability.
- Manage resource availability and proactively address potential resource shortages to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain a strong team of skilled and motivated individuals by providing training and development opportunities, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management on resource utilization, availability, and project progress, including identifying potential risks and issues and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals by understanding the organization's strategic priorities and ensuring that resource management strategies support those priorities.
- Continuously improve resource management strategies by seeking out feedback and ideas from team members and senior management and incorporating them into strategies.
- Foster a culture of Ethical Behavior and Integrity, Customer centricity, Thought Leadership & Innovation, Trust & Teamwork, and Accountability
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business management.
- Proven experience in resource management in the IT industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
