Having Continuous improvement mindset Flexibility and good team playerResponsibilities: Rebate Calculation and Processing:o Utilize financial data and systems to accurately calculate customer rebates according to established agreements and terms
o Review and verify rebate claims submitted by customers, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions
o Collaborate with sales and account management teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to rebate calculations
Thoroughly going through the Agreements, clauses interpretation, and setting up in Vistex basis the same Stakeholder Management:o Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and finance teams
o Communicate effectively to ensure all parties are aligned on rebate program details, changes, and timelines
o Address stakeholder inquiries and concerns promptly, providing clear and concise explanations as needed
Process Improvement:o Continuously assess and enhance the rebate calculation and processing procedures to streamline operations and minimize errors
o Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy in rebate management
Team Mentorship:o Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to junior rebate analysts
o Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging professional growth and development among team members
o Assist in resolving complex issues and escalations, leveraging your experience to guide the team toward effective solutions
Data Analysis and Reportingo Analyze rebate data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
o Generate regular and ad hoc reports to provide insights to management and stakeholders regarding rebate program performance
Compliance and Audit:o Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations related to rebate processing
o Assist in audit processes by providing accurate documentation and explanations of rebate calculations and activities
Qualification Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Masters degree a plus
5-8 years of experience in rebate analysis and processing
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools
Strong understanding of financial principles and calculations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
Experience in process improvement initiatives preferred
