Senior R&D Formulation Executive

Title: Senior Executive - Formulation R&D

Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive to join our Formulation R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting formulation development initiatives, conducting data analysis, and assisting in technology transfer activities. This role requires a solid understanding of pharmaceutical formulation principles, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Senior Executive will play a crucial role in executing project tasks, supporting technical investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the formulation development process by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and documenting results.

- Assist in project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.

- Collaborate with internal teams to transfer technology between R&D and manufacturing sites.

- Assist in the preparation and review of technical documents, including development reports and protocols.

- Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceutical formulation.

- Participate in troubleshooting efforts and contribute to the resolution of technical issues.

- Support Quality by Design (QbD) initiatives by implementing relevant principles and methodologies.

- Assist in managing change control activities, including documentation and implementation of changes.

- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to support project requirements.

- Assist in preparing regulatory submissions and responding to queries as needed.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in formulation development within the pharmaceutical industry.

- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation principles and practices.

- Familiarity with Quality by Design (QbD) principles and regulatory standards.

- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience in analytical techniques.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.

- Prior experience with technology transfer activities is advantageous.

- Familiarity with change control systems and regulatory requirements is a plus.
