Sr QA Engineer

Had overall experience of 6-8 years in Quality assurance and Test automation using Python, Selenium and API testing with experience in building test strategy, estimation, creating comprehensive test plans covering functionality, usability, security, scalability & performance for Web based, event driven Cloud hosted services. Should have worked in Product development environment, have expertise in creating and maintaining end to end automation suites and integrated with CICD pipelines. Shall be proficient in defect triage, performing root cause analysis, understand code release process, deployments and achieve efficiency through metrics measurements and continuous process improvement.

Detailed Job description

Experience in Manual Testing, Automation testing (Python, Cucumber or Pytest and Selenium), API Testing

6-8 years of overall testing experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium with Python scripting and Cucumber

Should have Manual Testing experience including API Testing using the Postman Tool

Expertise in PyCharm, PyTest, VsCode or IntelliJ tool and experience in LINUX platforms

Experience with CI/CD (Bamboo, Bitbucket, and/or Jenkins) integrating testing frameworks.

Strong QA and Automation background with experience in creating automation test plans, and reviews, writing & executing test cases, and test scripts, and publishing testing results/dashboards.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and estimation techniques.

Version control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket
