Senior QA Engineer :
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior QA Engineer to join our team! As a senior member of the QA department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products before they reach our customers.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Strong proficiency in testing methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or similar languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices and testing techniques.
- Analyse test results and provide timely and accurate feedback to managers / stakeholders.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by customers or internal teams, and work towards resolution.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle by advocating for quality and testing best practices.
Job Description:
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Good understanding of TDD approach.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
