Scope:
We are looking for a talented Software Tester to join our team. You must:
- Be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary and distributed team.
- Be able to communicate effectively, including via phone, email, instant message and video conferencing tools.
- Be fierce in your pursuit of product quality.
- Be a self-motivated, rapid learner with an active interest in the latest tools, technologies and processes.
- Have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Hands-on manual testing of Web-based software applications
- The set-up, configuration, and maintenance of test environments. Including knowledge of Windows server and client technologies
- Test planning and estimation, test case design and execution, within an Agile development framework
- Reporting defects and test reporting
- Following a disciplined and structured approach with attention to detail
Experience and Skills:
- Total 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience in Web Application testing, Accessibility testing, Cross browser testing, Performance Testing, API Testing.
- Experience in Automation testing will be plus point.
- Experience in preparing Test Plans/Test Strategies/Reports.
- Database skills with hands-on experience in SQL.ai
- Experience with defect management and tracking tools
- Experience with installing software builds/Configuration
- Experience working in Agile.
Skills Desirable:
- ISTQB/ISEB qualifications.
- Knowledge of Virtual Machines
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarization with IP networking and Active Directory
- Hands-on coding experience in any software development or scripting language
Education:
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronic Engineering
