nYou are a Sr. QA Engineer with a minimum of 4 -8 years of experience with the following skills:
n
n- Comfortable with tools for project tracking, test organization, API testing tools, load testing tools, browser tools for debugging and responsiveness testing, basic database querying
n- Comfortable with basic scripting in any one language
n- Must be handson with all phases of testing life cycle from strategy to writing test cases to automation
n- Must have managed roadmap for web applications, API and data products
n- Defining and monitoring productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics
n- Must be organized by nature; possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills
n- Must be good at written and oral communication
n- Strong team building and people management skills are a must
n- Quick learner and observer of the software industry; fast adoption of good practices and tools
n

- Defining quality standards and metrics for products, and gearing a team of QAs towards meeting them
n- Defining processes for QA of data and applications
n- Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are getting covered.
n- Defining and executing manual and automation testing strategy
n- Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking
n- Keep raising the bar and standards of all the quality processes with every project Setting up goals and objectives for QA Engineers
n- Mentoring team members, identifying training and learning material for team members Identifying best practices & tools in the industry and adopting them from time to time
