About the Role

Neuron is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance / Customer Response Engineer. A QA/CR Engineer will work with various Neuron departments from product managers, network engineers, development engineers, data engineers, support engineers, DevOps engineers and operations to ensure software quality and customer experience / satisfaction for mobile device software (iOS) for Neuron. The position requires attention to detail for analysis of product requirements and customer needs to verify product quality and customer experience. Working on this technology you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the implementation and quality of Neuron next generation products. We need your skills as an excellent communicator who can set appropriate expectations, keep everyone apprised of progress and action items, manage QA test plans, create automated test cases, evaluate test results, balance workloads, and ensure we meet our commitments. You also excel at dealing with the complexities associated with large enterprise customers.

What You'll Do
Review system requirements and system architecture.
Create test plans including automation tests and manual tests
Automate test procedures.
Execute test plans, report results, log defects / bugs, participate in defect / bug tracking.
Document release notes.
Participate in test automation code reviews.
Participate in requirement reviews.
Work with DevOps and the Business Unit leads to support customer demos and Proof-of Concept deployments.
Support customers throughout the deployment lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
Receive customer feedback and ensure that feedback is presented to the product team for possible incorporation into the product.

What You'll Need
Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
Networking (including sockets, TCP, UDP, IP)
Experience testing iOS devices, server-side functionality, and using network simulation tools.
Knowledge of network issues that affect user experience including latency, jitter, throughput and packet loss
Working knowledge of testing principles in an agile environment
Working knowledge of testing tools and frameworks
Experience with Linux & servers
Working knowledge of iOS deployment including TestFlight, Apple Business Manager and / or other Mobile Device Management
Communication skills for customer interactions
Problem solving skills
Strong proficiency in Shell and Python with a solid understanding of scripting principles for use in a testing environment.
