KuKu FM is a podcast platform for vernacular languages where users can create or find great quality audio shows ranging from Audiobooks to thriller stories. We are disrupting the traditional radio to bring back the nostalgia we all grew up with. Our mission is to build an audio platform to bring together communities to share stories and spread knowledge.
Audio-sharing platforms are a $15B Industry in China and $10B in the US with an active user base of 500 million.
Started by IIT alumni, KuKu FM has grown to a product with 2M+ users and more than 1,500 creators in less than a year. We are a funded startup backed by some of the most prominent VCs in India.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company.
- Set up the API and Performance test process from scratch.
- Develop and test software.
- Demonstrable expertise in various technical areas, including programming, API, Mobile Automation, and software installation and configuration.
- Create and execute performance test strategy and test plan, interfacing with all levels of the application protocol stack.
- Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests, including, unit tests, integration tests, load tests, and volume tests, both in Blackbox and Whitebox modes.
- Integrate testing frameworks with CI/CD tools.
- Work under the Technical Test Team Leader/Manager delivering non-functional test solutions that meet defined objectives, schedules, standards, and cost targets and reflect the technical test strategy
- Work alongside architects to set up the performance test processes.
- Work with the entire team to identify potential application and infrastructure bottlenecks and suggest changes.
- Take ownership of the non-functional test solution from project initiation to final acceptance, with responsibility for each NFT milestone within the cycle
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of QA Java Backend Automation Engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java languages.
- Strong hands-on experience in backend testing, API testing, Performance testing, and automation skills.
- Experience with API, Performance, and Load testing.
- Experience in SQL for backend testing of databases.
- This includes knowledge of database design, as well as the capability of writing and executing queries and procedures.
- Experience in git source control.
- Experience in CI/CD tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
