Position - Senior Python Developer /System Analyst
Location - Pune/Nagpur
Duration - Full-time with Quantum
Office Hour: USA EST
Below are his Job Duties:
- This individual will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting data related to clinical development processes within the Pharmaceutical R&D area. The Senior Business Analyst/System Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, perform data validation and quality assurance activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy, and conduct data analysis and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can drive decision-making and process improvement.
The Services shall include but are not limited to:
Business/Systems analysis and data modeling
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, providing insights, and recommending solutions based on data analysis.
- Utilizing business analysis techniques to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization within the clinical development life cycle.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participating in the design, development, and implementation of data models and structures to support data analysis and reporting.
Data Engineering:
- Cleaning and transforming raw data into a usable format using data engineering techniques.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Create and manage REST APIs to facilitate data integration and accessibility across systems.
- Implement data validation and transformation logic to ensure high-quality data for downstream use cases.
Data Analysis:
- Using statistical methods to analyze data and derive insights.
- Utilizing languages like Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL and Python to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and reporting.
Machine Learning for MDM:
- Design and implement machine learning models to support master data management (MDM) initiatives.
- Develop algorithms to match, merge, and de-duplicate records across multiple data sources using TAMR or other MLL methods.
- Work with data stewards to ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data across the organization.
General:
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data from various sources and systems.
- Ensuring compliance in data management and analysis processes.
- Suggesting innovative approaches for data analysis and reporting based on emerging technologies and industry trends
- Attending scrum meetings regularly, and meeting with business & IT stakeholders to review program objectives, schedules, and project documents.
- Identifying, tracking, and assisting in resolution of issues, including escalating issues to ensure their prompt resolution.
- Collaborating with the entire team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Performing other activities as may be deemed necessary based upon business priorities, as indicated in writing by project manager.
Tool & Platforms
- Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Familiarity with master data management (MDM) concepts and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and related services (e.g., S3).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Machine Learning with TAMR.
