Role Overview:The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex OTT projects within the media and entertainment domain. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of managing high-profile projects from inception through completion.
Project Planning and Strategy:- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
Define project goals and deliverables that align with the company's strategic objectives.- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution.
Team Leadership and Coordination:- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, content creators, and marketing professionals.
Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate regular updates and meetings.
Execution and Delivery:- Oversee the end-to-end execution of OTT projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to address challenges and changes in scope.- Implement best practices and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
Client and Stakeholder Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, content providers, and other key stakeholders.
Gather and incorporate feedback to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and post-project evaluations.
Industry Expertise:- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the media and entertainment OTT space.
Leverage industry knowledge to drive innovation and optimize project strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Media and Entertainment, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Project Manager in the media and entertainment industry, with a focus on OTT platforms.
Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of OTT technology, content distribution, and media production processes.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
