Your role and responsibilities
Acting as a technical lead and approves design deliverables, reviewing all project documents for conformity and quality assurance requirements, anticipating and solving unprecedented design problems, crucial issues or unique conditions, serving as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods
Defining focus areas or priorities for design to ensure technological excellence, working with the customer to shape and delivering solutions and seeking customer feedback to drive and delivering improvements, finalizing fail-safe philosophy, secure-by-design principles and other key concepts
Participating in project meetings and resolves any outstanding technical issues to meet contractual obligations, assisting in preparing proposal / presentation of engineering projects / programs, applying advance design thinking / design for excellence concepts in projects
Performing project peer-reviews and utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines, contributing, and sharing experiences in workshops related to engineering design, factory testing, site commissioning, tools and processes
Coaching or mentoring colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices and lessons learned from past projects, developing, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools
Collaborating with the supply chain function and the project manager(s) to meet the contractual requirements, coordinating with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured and tested, ensuring the engineering deliverables as built are updated
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical / production from and accredited university or college
- Require 8 years of experience in experience in use of tools like Pro-E and Creo
- Working knowledge of wind chill change management process
- Working knowledge of solving manufacturing issues of Mebane plant and support post sales services teams of North America
- Knowledge of geometrical dimensioning and tolerance (GD & T)
- Design of electrical distribution equipment using Pro-E and Crem

Your role and responsibilities
Carrying out the development activities related to development of libraries for Oil and Gas and integration with system 800xA . Electrical or instrumentation engineer with deep understanding on System 800xA DCS, AC800M, PPA etc
Experience in developing and maintenance of system 800xA control builder libraries, faceplates, object types, graphics and services related to Oil and Gas industries. Working in process industry applications like in Oil and Gas, F&B, Minerals, Cement, Mining, Pulp and paper, Oil and Gas, Chemicals industries with basic understanding of concepts of process control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA)
Interacting with various stakeholders understand the customer demands, update self with latest trends and technologies. Developing and maintaining customer demos to showcasing product functionalities, features and value proposition for customers
Coming out with out of the box ideas to make the demos more presentable, contemporary and attractive to customers
Having the knowledge to use DCS system to integrate with advanced process control and also to work on OPCUA and classic OPC protocols
Understanding requirements and designing from stakeholder, product manager, break down to user stories for development and timely delivery
Responsible for creating clear and concise documentation such as user manual and configuration manuals on features or solutions or products
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's degree or masters degree in engineering
- Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in DCS, PLC, Scada with experience in working in system 800XA products such as AC800M , Control Builder , PPA etc
- Strong development experience in developing 800xA libraries, faceplates, services etc, experience in debugging libraries
- Working with process industry applications in oil and gas and chemical and pharma with basic understanding of concepts of control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA). Working Knowledge on Public interfaces OPC UA, OPC Classic
- Experience in Development environment (TFS, Visual Studio). Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Designing and developing for product components or module as per requirement. Good understanding on Software development process (SDLC)
- Contributing and implementing initiative with in the project using the tools, process and ensuring alignment with assigned targets (time, cost, quality)
