- The selected candidate will report to the Program Director and support the Sustainable Cities program at WRI India with the following:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive MEL plan aligned with the projects goals and objectives, focusing on urban adaptation and resilience finance.
- Design and implement monitoring tools and frameworks to track project progress, measure key performance indicators (KPIs), and assess the impact of interventions on climate resilience.
- Collect and analyse data related to project activities, financial resources, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports for project stakeholders, including donors. These reports should clearly communicate project progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Conduct evaluations to assess the projects effectiveness in achieving its intended outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge products such as case studies, policy briefs and best practices related to adaptation and resilience finance.
- Help develop knowledge products such as case studies, best practices guides, and policy briefs to share project learnings with a wider audience.
- Work collaboratively with project staff, technical experts, and city authorities to ensure a participatory approach to MEL activities.
