Job Title: Senior Developer-Progress OpenEdge
Experience range: 7+ years
Work Location: Remote, with mandatory visit to Vadodara for 1 week in 2 months
Shift Timing: mid shift
Skillset:
- Knowledge of, or experience with, Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL is a plus
- Knowledge of, and experience with, .NET Core 6
- Strong understanding, and experience with, version control (e.g., Git, BitBucket)
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS)
- Familiarity with databases and relationships (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Some basic understanding of CI pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, BitBucket pipelines)
Responsibilities:
- Members will be part of a product development scrum team
- Product development will require learning and use of a proprietary software (e.g., Progress / OpenEdge)
- Senior / Lead dev will be available for code review / consultation
- Collaborate with other developers, QA Analysts, and Product Managers to complete issues and stories within sprints
- Development environment will be available with necessary software installed.
