We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Program Manager to join our growing team in India. You will play a critical role in leading the successful execution of complex programs, driving business goals, and ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery. As a natural leader and problem-solver, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth program execution across the entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive program plans aligned with overall business objectives. This includes defining program scope, timelines, budget, and success metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and manage cross-functional teams comprised of engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Foster open communication and collaboration to ensure all teams are aligned and working towards program goals.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential roadblocks and ensure program success.
- Budget Management: Create and manage program budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Provide regular budget updates to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Effectively communicate program progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Vendor Management: (if applicable) Oversee and manage relationships with external vendors. Ensure vendors deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track program progress and performance metrics. Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve program management processes by identifying and implementing best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management with a proven track record of success in delivering complex programs.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management frameworks (Waterfall).
- Experience in developing and managing program budgets.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is a plus.
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
