In This Role You Will Get To
- The Senior Productivity Tools Engineer will be focused on shaping the future of enterprise tools at Priceline by building and maintaining IPAAS point to point API automation.
- You will build rule based integrations between tools such as JIRA, Workday, Slack, Active Directory, Concur and many more!
- This requires excellent technical and communication skills to work with multiple teams to interpret and implement business requirements while solving daily operational incidents.
- The successful candidate possesses excellent rule-based analytical and problem-solving skills to implement innovative solutions, manage conflicting expectations and priorities.
- Engages IPAAS tools vendor to investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences
- Contributes to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying modern, SAAS based enterprise application technologies
- Evaluates emerging technologies to ensures technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives
- Provides technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to cross-functional groups.
- Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels; provide performance statistics and reports
Who You Are
- Experienced in building IPAAS integrations with tools such as Snaplogic, Informatica, Talend, Jitterbit, Mulesoft, DELL Boomi or similar.
- Provides planning, coordination, and implementation of integrations between SAAS based tools such as JIRA, Workday, Concur, Slack and more
- Fast paced and adaptive learner of new technologies who will take ownership of administration, and configuration of Priceline's IPAAS platform
- Experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and SQL
- Possesses ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot operational and end user incidents with timely resolution
- Experienced in working in an innovative, dynamic, Agile environment
- Script automation experience (i.e. Expression Language, Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Ability to consult and present with all levels of management.
- Willingness to participate in on-call service and emergency support if necessary
Additional Duties And Responsibilities
- Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
- Fast turnaround of customer requests
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Improve usage and increase the productivity of cross-functional teams at Priceline
- Escalate service requests that cannot be scheduled within agreed service levels
- Document work for reference and training for using Confluence
- Manage all service requests and projects via Jira Ticketing System.
Qualification/Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five years related experience.
- Industry IPAAS technical certifications are desirable but not required.
- Demonstrated history of living the values important to priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust. Unquestionable integrity and ethics.

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
