Sporting Syndicate is the largest Sports Goods manufacturers and exporters in India. Based in Jalandhar, Punjab, the company was founded in 1960 and has since been driving India's Sports Goods industry.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Production Manager to lead one of our units. The roles and responsibilities will include:

• Leading the department's Manufacturing and Operations, in coordination with Quality, Purchase, Dispatch and Maintenance departments
• Implement automation in the unit in place of Manual processes
• Analyse and implement tools of Lean Manufacturing into the production processes
• Improve product cycle times by implementing Line Balancing
• Work on reducing the cost of production
• Implement disciplined and tough decisions as a leader

About you

• Previous experience in a Managerial role is required
• Implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools is highly desired
• Previous experience in an automation sector is desired
• Ability to take on a challenge and turn things around
• Bachelor's degree in a technical background is required
