Job Summary:
The Product QA Developer, Sr, designs, develops and implements test cases for the improvement of product quality. The position also performs inspections on products, analyzes data, identifies trends in errors and monitors quality issues.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans.
- Manages and maintains advanced automation processes.
- Manages metrics and advanced reporting techniques.
- Analyzes features and contributes to the design from the customer's perspective.
- Partners across teams to support quality processes as a collaborative effort.
- Independently owns projects.
- Mentors the team on process and product capabilities.
- Actively participates in requirements reviews and provides recommendations (SME).
- Estimates new software changes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
- Experience establishing complete QA processes.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Extensive knowledge of QA tools and methodologies.
- Extensive experience creating, maintaining, executing, and analyzing automation test case results.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; ability to lead a team.
- Proficiency in planning/estimating timelines for tasks and leading the team in meeting defined goals
Qualification
- 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
- 2+ years of specialized/industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
