We are looking for a
Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management team in the Collector Sub-Division, focused on our Billing Rule engine capabilities. Key responsibilities include understanding the industry and customer, driving to a product vision, developing business cases, ensuring a product or set of product features meets business requirements and driving the creation and delivery of the product. In this specific role you will help us in managing the modelling, testing and workflow tools and drive the features from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products. This position will work daily within scrum teams defining and writing clear user stories, prioritizing product backlogs, and making trade off decisions between scope and schedule.

deal Candidate: You are an outcome-oriented Product Management professional, preferably with previous product management experience at an enterprise software organization. You have experience collaborating with both internal and external customers to ensure the success of your products. You have demonstrated the ability to propose the most appropriate approach for the need at hand; and can quickly pivot if this approach fails. You have demonstrated success at driving results in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities. You have experience working with colleagues to broaden or narrow a problem's scope to enable action and create manageable efforts. You are interested in industry developments and trends and can translate them into tactical ways to build software features that achieve product-market fit. You are comfortable communicating and collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders, from technical conversations with software developers to discussions with the customer success team to presentations to company leadership.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Acts as the Product Owner of one or more Agile scrum team(s), working closely with an engineering manager, scrum master, and 4-8 software engineers to deliver on the product goals
- Articulates crisp user requirements, user stories and documentation
- Works with both UX and Development to understand design or technology implications in solution ideas and decide on the proper approach to meet customer needs
- Builds, grooms and prioritizes the product backlog based on organizational goals
- Communicates requirements and constraints and facilitates the team in a brainstorm to figure out how to best satisfy needs from the customer and the business.
- Gains alignment from multiple stakeholders; recognizes the need for alignment
- Understands product dependencies and negotiates the trade-offs with the appropriate product managers.
- Participates in scrum meetings i.e. daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts and retrospective
- Creates multi-release product roadmaps by collaborating with various teams and communicates internally, noting the stages and timelines for various work
- Determines whether experiments, alpha and/or beta stages are needed to determine Product-Market fit and appropriately defines and utilizes them
- Works with Product Leadership to prioritize problems or themes to reach the outcomes based on Key Performance Indicators and available data
- Works with the User Experience and Voice of the Customer teams to identify and understand the user problems and requirements
- Identifies product gaps and defines requirements to fill these product gaps
- Build and foster effective relationships with leadership and liaise with stakeholders to build a strong foundation of influence
- Nurture relationships; align cross-functional priorities, break down barriers and ensure cross-departmental success. Serve as the final stop in client escalations
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferred; Degree (Bachelor's or Masters) in Computer Science, Business, or Product Management/Design preferred.
- 15+ years overall professional experience | 7+ years in product management (or product field)
- Experience working with Agile (Scrum) teams desired.
- Understanding of healthcare / health IT environment a plus
- Demonstrated success at driving vision and prioritization of products in a dynamic environment using analytic and quantitative capabilities.
- Experience in Platform, APIs, and Cloud services is a plus
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Understanding of (or desire and ability to learn) medical terminology, EHRs, and value-based care landscape
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with senior leaders, various internal stakeholders, and customers
- Ability to identify issues, hypothesize solutions, and see them through to completion
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of technical nuances and capabilities to effectively communicate with engineering teams and guide product development.
- Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
- Ability to focus on the desired outcomes and value for both the business and the customers when making decisions regarding execution and delivery
- Ability to work in conjunction with engineering and design estimate the level of effort, dependencies, blockers, and contingencies
- Ability to understand the value of and can create strong problem statements and metrics that are actionable, focused, and inspiring to achieve correct business outcomes
