Overview
The Senior Product Designer plays a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our products. They are responsible for driving the design vision, creating intuitive interfaces, and ensuring that the final products are both functional and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for new product features and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas
- Conduct user research and testing to validate design concepts
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides
- Translate complex concepts into simple, elegant user interfaces
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and data analysis
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on UI/UX
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
