Senior Product Designer

Role Context:

Ola Electric is building the future of transportation with our cutting-edge electric vehicles. We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to lead the design efforts for the next generation of our scooters, motorbikes and cars and take them to new heights of awesomeness. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with our engineering and product team to create designs that are both beautiful and functional. You will be responsible for creating and shaping the aesthetic of Move OS (the electrifying software that fuels our vehicles) and the Ola electric app. You will have the opportunity to be hands-on in the design process, leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring products to market. This is a great opportunity to create an end-to-end user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design intuitive interfaces and user experiences that will make people want to ride our vehicles even in a hurricane

Craft a unique perspective and design aesthetic, with emphasis on usability and user-centered design approach

Visual design, interaction design, and experience creating high-fidelity prototypes

Work closely with the engineering and product team to create designs that are both beautiful and functional

Be hands-on in the design process, leading and collaborating with cross functional teams to bring products to market

Qualifications:

Strong background in product design Great visual design skills and experience creating screen UI and interfaces

Strong interaction design skills to craft intuitive and user-friendly interfaces

Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes.

Willingness to roll up sleeves and be involved in the prototyping and testing stages of product development
