JioCinema is looking for a talented Senior Product Designer with a proven track record to join our Engagement team, whose primary objective is to build interactive products which enhance customer engagement around shows, movies and sports. We call it content-around-content whether that be polls, quizzes, competitions, infographics, data vis, games, scorecards or rewards, the possibilities are endless. The Engagement Pod focuses on these contextual, wow-factor, user-centric design experiences which serve business purpose, driving loyalty and frequency of use. Working with the Design Principal on this team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of design craft and solutions across the entire engagement landscape. We are looking for somebody with proven experience in the gamification domain.
Senior Designers at JioCinema

What You'll Do :-
- User Experience Design: Work into engagement strategies by defining and crafting the look, feel, and interaction of our entire product experience in relation to gamification. Everything from wireframes, prototypes, and user flows which communicate design concepts - to final fit and finish, interaction design, animation and development handover. Importantly, your ability to turn engagement experiences into reusable templates and component parts for the JioCinema Design System is key. You are expected to lead by showing, not telling. Your work exemplifies best-in-class process and design solutions.
- Interaction Design: Transition your creative exploration and screen design into interactive, moving prototypes. You understand how motion helps tell a story, moves customers from A to B, and brings games to life. From subtle movements to playful and expressive transformations, you can incorporate motion into UI to help amplify the personality of our products and enhance user experiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Evangelise your knowledge of current industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to games and data visualisation. Actively seek feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve designs based on insights and data.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and Marketers to ensure alignment on engagement strategies and implementation. Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Who should apply for this role
- Fluency in the latest cross-platform product design trends, tools and technologies. A good balance of UX thinking and UI execution (though you may lean on one or the other as a strength).
- A strong portfolio which showcases the end-to-end design process across multiple projects, including interaction and visual design artefacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Demonstrable experience successfully managing stakeholder relationships at a senior level. Good ability to negotiate and influence others with design proposals.
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively in a complex, fast-paced business environment with strict deadlines.
- An appreciation of business processes and a strong understanding of both product and marketing concepts/strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Comfortable presenting to large groups.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a proven track record.
- Energized by hands-on work, designing flows, building prototypes, running discovery activities and polishing final designs.
- Experience working cross-platform (TV/Mobile/Web) and collaborating closely with Design Systems teams.
- Able to challenge assumptions and biases in themselves and others.
- Able to work collaboratively in real time and asynchronously.
- Enjoys mentoring Designers.
- A mastery of Design tooling for production and prototyping (Figma, Principle etc).
