- Job Role includes providing Transactional & Strategic Procurement Support to
Corteva Agriscience - Buy Team based out Globally Various Plants/Sites/Operations Located in different countries.
- Performing a wide range of work requests that are assigned / requested by the Corteva Buy Team (Buyers group) using broader knowledge of Sourcing, Procurement & Supply Chain via SAP Applications.
- Driving Fundamental improvements in Buy Commodity Areas.
- Provides support to the operations team on Strategic and transactional activities, quality or governance for a specific commodity or process.
- Providing Spot Purchases buying Support for the Sites basis the need by converting a requisition to Purchase Order
- Provides support to buyers on resolving pricing discrepancies, contract management process, vendor set up and supplier performance management process.
- Significant amount of interaction with Corteva Buy team (Buyer), Site Personnel (employees who work at manufacturing plant), Various Suppliers/Vendor located Globally.

- Key Accountabilities: include serving as the single point of contact for buyers or Requisitioners in Manufacturing Sites performing Sourcing, Procurement & Supply Chain work which includes:
- Creation, Amendment, Renewal & Management of Contracts/ Agreements for the commodities like Raw Materials, Packaging, IT, Market Communications, Material Repair & Operations, R&D, Eng Equipment, Energy & Industrial Gas, Environment, Contract & Professional Services. This involves working with International Buyers, Suppliers to get need attributes etc.
- Instrumental in helping the Buyer for Spot Purchases, which involves handling requisitions from Manufacturing Sites for any Commodity, Sourcing the Supplier as per Company strategy, Receiving Quotations from Suppliers, Negotiating with Suppliers on Price & Payment Terms (if agreed to Corteva Buyers), Creating Purchase Orders & Expediting the same to make sure Material is available for the site at right cost and at right time.
- Day to Day Management of Contracts/Agreements in Transaction Systems .i.e. SAP. This involves, updating of Prices, Buyer of Records, Contract Value, and Creation & Setup of Materials in System etc...
- Handling Invoice Disputes and resolving the same to make sure Suppliers get paid on time / excess payments are not made.
- Graduates or Postgraduates, with at least 3 to 5 yrs. of experience in Sourcing, Procurement and Supply Chain in BPO/ITES Industry supporting US/UK Clients.
- Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Excellent Telephone and Email Etiquette skills.
- Good Interpersonal Skills.
- Good Analytics Skills
- Should have ability to do multitasking.
- Experience in SAP S4 Hana and Ariba.
- Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
- Willing to work in US Shift Timings.
- Experience in P2P process, Experience in RFP, RFQ's
