We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position flexible across APAC region.
Job Purpose:
Implement Procurement Top Initiatives (Focus Plus) project plans and processes to maximize the business value and successfully deliver projects while meeting the cost, timescale and quality parameters in line with overall business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies. Strong focus on driving innovative negotiation design into the organization.
Your tasks:
Develop and implement project management plans to deliver on Procurement Focus Plus projects (at required quality standard, on time and on budget) and processes for successful execution of the projects
Instruct, direct and review the output of functional project team or individual project members
Identify and highlight deviations on project expenditure to adhere to defined project budget
Track project milestones, monitor/ report progress and performance against the project plan
Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays in the delivery of projects
Implement project risk mitigation action plans to minimize projects risks
Support implementation of project results to create targeted impact.
Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research / intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of regional frame contracts
Specialize in strategic sourcing capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business / function in scope
Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers
Applies analytical or technical negotiation tools to prepare fact-based negotiation like clean-sheets and Design to Value
Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders
Define project resources, conduct performance reviews and post implementation evaluations
Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/ new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed
Apply state of the art negotiation methods to best leverage supply market opportunities
Training colleagues in the organization on negotiation and game theory methods
Preparing as supporting projects for and during larger negotiation events
Your profile:
Education Level
Master's Degree / Bachelor's Degree
Experience Level
More than 5 years of procurement industry experience
Has worked on at least 3 large sourcing initiatives
Strong negotiation skills
Has proven track record in managing large-scale projects and mastering project management tools / methods
3+ years of experience in working in an international virtual interdisciplinary teams
Very good ability and track record to analyze, model and interpret data
Problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Proven ability as well as track record to prioritize and think from business needs in order to identify and provide solutions best suited for a specific problem consultative approach
Very good knowledge of Procurement systems and tools as well as Digital mindset
Proven track record of innovative negotiation skills and understanding on how to make use of game theory in negotiation and tender design
Willingness and ability to travel minimum 25%
Has already worked on initiatives abroad (incl. local touch time)
Fluent in English and shows intercultural competencies
