Function / Purpose:
- Assist in scale up from lab and optimize current processes.
- Work with multi-function team to achieve project goals.
- Develop & maintained process related documents.
Location: Vapi, Gujarat
Sr Process Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Project work:
- Process design, development and implementation of capital projects.
- Provide support & guidance to team to meet daily work demands.
- Work with multi-functional team to execute Projects within allotted timelines & budget.
- Preparation/evaluation of flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment drawings, etc
- Inspection, installation and commissioning of equipment in production plant and utility.
- Technical discussions with vendors regarding new requirements.
- Help purchasing team to technically understand the product details
Support R&D and Production:
- Develop & implement of process improvement strategies.
- Identify & manage resources to execute process improvement projects.
- Develop new processes for high efficiency & cost effectiveness.
- Optimize current processes to meet all customer & internal requirements.
- Develop & maintain process related documents.
- Recommend new ideas & techniques to ensure project success.
- Analyze & troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous & permanent improvements.
- Coordinate and plan with various cross functional areas to ensure successful implementation of ideas.
- Ensure compliance with company & industry standards.
- Any other work assigns by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum BTech/BE in Chemical Engineering
- 5 years experience in manufacturing of intermediates / chemicals on similar position.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
